We run multiple companies in our environment and accounting takes care of every company’s accounting needs, though they are separate entities. Is there some way I can see all the POs up for approval, all open invoices, etc for multiple companies in one place? (We cannot use consolidated purchasing and such tools)
We have the same organizational setup. We simply built some cross-company BAQs/Dashboards for them to use. Moving between companies is still a bit tedious but seeing the ‘whole picture’ in one dashboard has helped them focus on the tasks at hand.

Like @MikeGross said, using a BAQ makes it easy to view across companies. The All Companies box makes the BAQ available to all companies. The Cross-company box lets you see the data in companies that the user has access to (as set up in User Account Maintenance).
