Onto BAQ's - need date range prompt to user

Create a BAQ that prompts for a date range. I have the report created and want it prompt the user for beginning date and end date (per say) for the report.

I see I can filter but what should I choose?

Glad you got it. For others there are a few options. Since a BAQ provides data to another interface, I recommend using the interface’s Filter functionality for this. These screens have it (not exhaustive):

  1. Quick Search
  2. Dashboards
  3. BAQ Reports

If you need the promo to calculate other thing or the value will filter a Sub Query, use a BAQ Parameter in the Action Menu.
