I am struggling with setting up the Engineering master files in Epicor 9.05. I do NOT have the Advance Scheduling module, but would like to do some job simple tracking. I have several production areas that assemble different products and need to be able to use the priority dispatch report for tracking the jobs in each assembly area. (in Vantage 6.1 this can be done by Work Center) I think what I want to do is have a production department, under which would be resource groups representing each assembly area by product. But since you can only have one resource or resource group per operation (without advance scheduling), I guess I would have to have a unique assembly operation for each resource group. Is there a better way to do this? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
