Opportunity Quote Entry - Task Sets

Hi there,

We are using the Quotes/Opportunity screen linked to Task Sets on our site on company1 - when we complete each task stage on the quote by ticking the Complete check box it closes this stage and automatically moves the quote on to the next milestone in the set.

We have a 2nd company recently setup in our site - this company as all the same background data for quotes - all the same task sets and configuration. However on attempt to tick the complete check box at the end of the task under this company name nothing happens and we are not allowed to move the task set on to the next task.

Any ideas on why this is the case?

Is the same task set specified in your new companies config?

Thanks Bruce - both configs are the same. I’ve checked everything I can think of and can’t see anything that would cause this not to work. Could it be BPM linked?

Possible, I’d look there and some of the related setups too.
Verify Task records are valid… also your CRM records, e.g. workforce - I’ve seen some weird stuff if all territories isn’t selected.

I had an issue with the sequence of tasks.

Some would disappear and then you couldn’t move forward to the next task.

Check out the task records for that quote.

HI all this was sorted by adding individual workforce user ids as authorised users under the general sales user in workforce.

Yes, I forgot about that very important detail as well. If the task is assigned to someone you don’t have authorization under that will be an issue.
