What needs to be set behind the scenes in order to uncheck both release items (make direct & buy to order)? Right now if I uncheck one, it defaults to the other and prompts the override button.
on part maintenance uncheck buy to order and nonstock they can be find in part maintenance and under plant tab in part maintenance too

I did that but it still defaults to one or the other
hmmmm did you check there is no customizations or BPM that are setting the flag?
Well the part is a configured part, but it’s using the base part number details
No other BPM or customization
is it the part coming from the quote generated by the configurator?
We build the configurator in the order itself
