Hi guys,
I’m having the issue in sales order entry where my unit price won’t save when its a part on the fly. No issue when this is a part ID. No BPM’s or or layers on any tables.

The part won’t be apart of a price list when it’s on the fly.
You will need a part which is apart of an active price list.
As in, no matter what you enter in the Unit Price, it is always 0 again when you refresh and/or reload the Order?
I’m not understanding this
Yeah what is the issue @aarong ?
Yeah this seems odd, but regardless, you could always check the box to lock the unit price, as a last resort.
EDIT: and I guess check the box to override price list, too, if you are really having a bad day.
But yeah, I’m with @Chad_Smith - I don’t see why you cannot manually force a value there.
He is not getting a unit price.
Its either that fact he is using a part on the fly which is not tided to an active price list due to being a part on the fly or the form is not functioning correctly. We don’t quite know yet
I thought they were saying that they saved a unit price and it went back to 0… I guess we’ll find out!
Hi Guys,
Thanks for al the responses. Had a few meetings and dealing with EpicCare.
This isn’t part of a price list since it’s a part on the fly. When I enter a price and click save, it reverts back to zero.
According to epicor, they are already working on a patch for this. I found a work around,
If we enter the unit price first, then enter the order quantity, we are able to save and the unit price will be applied.
Nice Ben, thanks for sharing with the group. Glad there is a workaround, though we all know how we feel about those most the time.
Yes sir, at least it’s Friday!
