Dave,

Would the release date change on Microsoft's website if they updated the
patch after February 7? Right now on their website says that the release
date is December 11, 2002.

Wendy,

If you installed the Microsoft Patch MS02-071 and you downloaded the
patch
before February 7th, then you have the old version of the patch which is
known to cause blue screens.

Hi everyone!

I am beginning to pull my hair out with this one. I have 4 computers that
just suddenly give me a blue screen stop error 0x0000000a.

I have looked up the errors several times on Microsoft's IT knowledgebase
but nothing applies to our situation. Someone a while ago had mentioned
to
me that if we have Norton Corp Edition on our computers and I install
anything on the computers then I have to reinstall the virus software
because it causes odd activity like this.

Has anyone heard anything similar to this?

The only similarities between the 4 computers are that they are all Win
NT
4.0 SP6a and have Norton Corp Edition. I installed some security updates
to
all of our computers in the company also. Unfortunately, one of the
computers is the owner's computer and another computer is our NT server.

Any ideas?

~Wendy

I use SAV (formerly NAV) also, and have installed many things since/during
it's installation with no problems. I would look toward a Microsoft/Windows
problem first.
