The Blackberry is my choice. Blackberries are easier to manage through the
Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES). The BES integrates seamlessly with
Exchange, providing total control and policy to enforce whatever security
you want no matter how granular. IPhone just has a small subset of Exchange
ActiveSync.

Personally, I prefer the iPhone to a blackberry device any day, but that
is because there is less administrative work and maintenance to be done
on an iPhone.
Our policy, we pay for your minutes, texting and internet usage. Any
apps you want are paid by you, the end user. Our staff is small so we
pool our minutes and texting so we know what we are paying for at the
end of the day.
It's kind of a mute issue, also because if I remember correctly you, the
end user, would still have to get an account for the iTunes and apps and
again, that is paid by you the end user.

Subject: [Vantage] OT Cell/Mobile device policy
Hello all, I'm tapping the best resource I know.
We are currently in to process of upgrading our cellular service which
would include providing our Sales and Support Staff with a Smartphone
i.e. iPhone or a comparable Windows Mobile device. The functionality is
great when integrated with Exchange, but the device can also be
considered a 'toy' with all the applications available.
Does anyone have a good policy in place for mobile devices which
includes the Smartphone? Would you be willing to share?
TIA
