TeraTerm is another freebie that works well for telnet and ssh (secure shell) file transfers.
I use it to send files to one of our old wire EDM machines.

Dostek Pro.

Were still using a small program called "communicate" that shipped with
SmartCAM back in the 80s. The licensing allowed you to use the
"communicate" and "edit plus" software on any number of machines, but the
CAM software had hardware locks. It still works with XP and 2000 Pro.

Hi Nancy,

We use DLOG. They love it. $2000 for the program. $2000 more for the
install (you really need this). Nary a peep from the CNC people. Used it
for a year now.
