OT - CNC software

Hi Lydia,

We use Gibbs to export the machine code programs. Then Manage the programs
using the DLOG software that we had installed recently. Before that it was
a DOS nightmare. But the DLOG has made everyone here really content.
That's a minor miracle.

It will not save you any money, but we use pro/man (a pro/e product)

We use Mastercam but I believe Pro-e has a product of its own.

Yea I don't think there is a way to save money on this project. We use
Virtual Gibbs, MasterCamm, Pro/Man, and Unigraphics. Don't ask why because
frankly I can't answer. They are all expensive, but just wait until the
maintenance contracts come in.

Lydia,

We use SurfCAM for CNC, CGTech's Vericut for program verification (in
addition to SurfCAM's Verify), and SolidWorks for CAD. They all seem to
work pretty well together.
