I'm sure this has been covered several times, but I'll try again:
We are on 6.1. We ship from stock 98% of the time. There is no join between most of our orders and the jobs that support them. Is there any way (other than manual matching), to compare what we quoted (which is then drawn over to the Sales Order when the parts are ordered), to how much it cost us to actually ship that part out the door? This project is sweetened by the fact that quite a few of our jobs don't build the "entire" part, but pull subassemblies from stock (at Standard Cost), for assembly, test and then shipping. Maybe it is just the way I'm looking at this, but I don't see much chance of commonality here to produce a report of some kind.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
