OT: Compress PDFs in batch mode (not into a batch)

Thank you very much Laraine. I'll pass this along to IT.

Regards,

Linda

Hi Linda,

We had a project like this recently. According to our Systems
Administrator:

"You can do that in Adobe PDF 8 or 9 Pro. You can use "Advanced -
Document Processing - Batch Processing" to run multiple files in 8 or
9."

I'm not sure if this is available in earlier Adobe Pro versions - and
this may or may not meet your requirements of "inexpensive"
($300-400?)...

Good luck!
Laraine

Hi Group,

Subject Correction - "into a batch" was incorrect.

Our IT guy asked me to forward his request to the group, hoping someone
can help:

Looking for good inexpensive tool that compresses pdf's in batch.
Something that runs search for all pdf's in your drive or directory and
gives you option to resize/compress them and save the files back as
original. (not copy of original)
