OT Crystal reports Question

Assuming the "M" prefix and the "D" suffix are static, you can prompt the
user for the beginning number (say 56400 in this case) and then just add the
page number to the variable. Then just append the D and M to the stringed
variable.

Subject: [Vantage] OT Crystal reports Question

I have been racking my head on this for soem time, I was hoping someone
could help me out.
I want to make a Crstal report form that has static data fields in it for
signoff on floor operations. The problem I'm working at is adding a variable
Serial Number to the forms.
So when crystal opens I can use the Parameter field to ask for the first
serial number Looks like this M56401D. The problem I have been having is
writting a formaul to replace this field with a progression of serial
numbers as each page prints. So page one has M56401D and page two has
M56402D and so one for the number of Pages I have selected to print.

Any Hints?
