(OT)degausser

Have you tried the magnet from a subwoofer? My guess it would clear the
tape clean.

Does anyone have any recommendations for degaussers for backup media? I
have searched techrepublic and zdnet for recommendations but haven't
found any useful info.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Got a Blanchard grinder? Any other magnetically-chucked fixture would do
just fine. We had some 1/2 inch reels left over from an old mini. Just
put them on the Blanchard table & hit the table power.

Dan,

heehee! Not a bad idea! Actually, we have to have a good functioning real degausser because of the government standards that we have.
