You may have to do a custom formula in another column something like
(assuming the value is in A1)

=MID(A1,5,2) & "/" & MID(A1,7,2) & "/" &LEFT(A1,4)

Unfortunately, this won't work. The file that I have is from a
Customer. When I highlight the column with the date and choose "Format
Cells" it will change the cells to # signs. The date is displayed as
20051015. I need it to be 10/15/05 or 10/15/2005.

Thanks though,

Juliet

Create a macro for that; apply the macro in VBA
button!
