I remember we talked about this awhile back, but I can't find anything in
the archives.
What is everyone using to transfer a file/program to a machine controller.
We have been using Procomm, but the version is so old it is having issues,
and needs to be replaced.

we run FTP daemons on the workstations that are networked to the Machine controllers...
Fanuc, Fidia, Mitsubishi, etc... each controller is programed to connect to the FTP server (ViewNow FTP has a very stable server daemon) on the workstation. The Workstation has 2 NIC's one LAN connection and the second to the Machining Centers...

for Serial (RS232) communications we use Predator DNC with a Serial Mux hanging off the workstation connected to several Haas VMC/HMC. I've had success with TeraTerm Pro (serial) to our EDM's also.
