Probably not the issue, but you might want to look at the date/time on the
workstations. I once inadvertently set the time on my workstation (W2000
Pro) 12 hours off (was set at AM and was actually PM). When I rebooted PC,
I couldn't log onto network (W2000 Server)or even get PC to boot without
network connection/mapping. Had to reset time through Bios setup to correct
problem.

Subject: [Vantage] OT: Group Policy enforcing?
Boy got a weird one yesterday and today
I accidentally reset my servers date to Feb 21st (Shop employees were
complaining about Vantage being 2 minutes off form our time whistle)
Somehow the Server got set to 2/21/04
People called in yesterday and could not access the network
I fixed it
But when most logged in, the group policy would not get applied (Which maps
drives, printers etc)
(I AM Running Windows 2003 Server by the way)
So if I go around to each workstation and do a
SECEDIT /REFRESHPOLICY USER_POLICY /ENFORCE from DOS and reboot, most of the
time this fixes it
So got all the cleared up yesterday
Found out this really screwed Vantage up
But this morning I have problems with the policies being enforce again
Any idea what's going on?
Its driving me nuts
Thanks
