BC Instruments has an immediate opening for a Network/Systems
Administrator. BC Instruments is a growing Precision Machine Shop
located just North of Toronto, Ontario in the town of Schomberg. We have
150 employees in 3 Plants at this location, with a small operation to
the North (Barrie, Ontario), and a related manufacturing Company in
India. We are a provider of Precision Machining Solutions for Mold,
Medical, Aerospace, Defense, and Nuclear Industries, in Conventional,
and Specially Engineered Materials, including Ceramics.
We are currently operating Vantage 6.0.508 and plan to upgrade to
Vantage 8.03 as through the course of this calendar year. This is a new
position that will report to the Controller/MIS Manager, with
responsibilities for 75 Users, VPN, Citrix, Phone switch, 12 servers,
Vantage training, implementation and administration. This position will
also require the individual to assist in all the daily IT operations of
the company, from Office applications, the development of policy and
procedures to CNC data servers.
