Position Title: Operations Project Manager / QC
Reports to: Materials Manager
Observes and evaluates all workflow processes for any of the following:
efficiency gains, compliance with ISO procedure(s), utilization of ERP
software tools and general improvement of business practices.
Formulates, presents to management and implements agreed upon procedures
and practices. Responsible for the maintenance, updating and
implementation of the company quality control system. Completes other
tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoot specific processes and procedures as requested
by management
- Produce required records and reports in a timely and accurate
manner.
- Train all appropriate staff according to management approved
procedures
- Report to management team all current QC metrics
- Manage daily workflow of QC system
- Recognize and recommend to management opportunities for
process improvement
- Assume responsibility for the proper completion of and
implementation of Corrective Action reports, Preventative Actions,
Effectivity Checks
- Assist department managers with ERP and/or process related
issues
- Verify the accuracy of ERP data/reports used to manage
operational functions of the business
- Maintain accurate records and priority list of open and
closed projects
Performance Measurement Criteria
- QC statements are accurate and produced in a timely manner
- Successful and timely completion of assigned projects
- ISO audit findings
- Quality, timeliness and accuracy of reports
- Pertinence, timeliness and creativity of operating
improvements
- Effectiveness of departmental management policies and
techniques
- Breadth of applied effort

Qualifications
- Minimum 4 year degree in business-related field
- 5+ years experience
- Strong work history
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with fully integrated ERP systems. (Epicor - Vantage
8.03.4xx preferred)
- Background in Manufacturing required
