[OT] Kinda... Terminal Server Vantage over att laptop card

I worked up to about 103MBytes per 8 hour day. Would this be
correct?
30,000bits per second is equal to 3.67KiloBytes per second which
would come out to 12.87MBytes per hour. So with 5GB I should get
almost 400 hours out of a Remote Desktop connection. Am I doing the
math wrong?
8 bits = 1 byte 1024bytes = 1Kbyte

We are planning on giving complete access to all applications
(Vantage,Email, etc.) over RDC to our mobile sales force. I am
wondering what type of Bandwidth would be used for a terminal server
connection. We get 5GB of data per month per card. I am wondering
how quickly I would use that up if they are using this daily. Anyone
have any input?
RDP/Terminal Services use *about* 30K (30,000 bits per second) of
bandwidth. Meaning, a good ol' 56K dial-up modem would be able to
handle it with no issues. If you had a 1GB internet connection,
hypothetically you can get about 33 users simultaneously connected.
However, I've pushed that limit to about 50 people across a T1.

Are they going to be connected 8 hours a day? If so, 30 * 60 * 60 * 8 =
864MB per day. (If I did my calculation right... Long day of reporting
here).

Of course, that's not counting their email (assuming they download email
and attachments with Outlook to their local PC).

Here's a good whitepaper:

We get 5GB of data per month per card. I am wondering how quickly I
would use that up if they are using this daily. Anyone have any input?
