(OT) Labels for Serial Numbers and VIN

We chose our labels based on the CSA approval process. If you Google,
"CSA APPROVED LABELS WEATHERPROOF", you'll get quite a few hits like
this: http://www.imageteklabels.com/polyester-labels.html

We had to buy a printer that worked with the labels but we have never had an issue of them falling off or becoming unreadable.

I'm curious what others are using for labels that are permanent and
weather resistant. We manufacture a multi-service vehicle and would like
to save time by applying labels with the SN/VIN numbers.

If you do something similar can you let me know what products you
utilize?

Thanks,

I am also curious. We attach serial numbers to our products, be we purchase them from an outside source. Sometimes we need to create a limited number in-house and we end up using Avery labels which aren't very durable (even the ones they call durable).
