OT: Mouse scroll and scanners

Hello Aaron,

I am currently using a USB Logitech trackman marble wheel mouse with Vantage
5.0. The mouse driver is version 8.5 and the OS is Win 98 SE. The scroll
wheel seems to work in the trackers. What other functionality would you like
me to test?

scanners with that capability? Any preferences on Laser vs. CCD
scanners for proximity scanning (activated by motion within range)?

As far as the mouse drivers are concerned, the only thing I've found
to work consistently is Microsoft mice w/ the Intellipoint mouse
drivers installed. I did not have any luck with Logitech mice (I
actually just replaced about ten new ones recently).
