They are really different things. NAND in used in things like flash drives
and SSDs. DRAM is your normal RAM. There is a lot of speculation/prediction
that NAND will get fast enough to alleviate the need for RAM, but it's still
a ways off.
To the best of my knowledge, no one makes RAM based on NAND chips as DRAM is
still much cheaper and faster. As the process for making NAND is inherently
more complex and expensive than DRAM, I doubt you will ever see NAND based
memory. I imagine it's more likely that SSDs will simply reach a speed where
conventional RAM is no longer necessary.
