Make sure your running Progress 9.1D.06, it's the only release approved by
progress.
I have been running 5.2 on Server2003 for a couple of weeks, no issues.
Except what I posted earlyer this week, no database logs appearing
in progess explorer.
Going from 5.1 on a 3 year old Dell Server PIII 500MHz to a Dell Xeon
2.4GHz, etc...
I'm seeing Report Builder reports that took 18 minutes drop to 4 minutes.
On a 2 gig database the schema and login conversion from 5.1 to 5.2 are 20
minutes each.

same time
