Whoa, It's not Outlook. Its a corrupt profile. this one is easy provided
your on an NT or up OS. Rename the users profile under
Winnt\profiles\username or Winnt\Docs & Settings\username. Login as the user
to create a new profile in the users name. Log in as the Admin and copy the
setting etc from the renamed profile to the user profile.
The setup the Outlook profile to point to the old Outlook files and you
should be done in less than 30 minutes.
The other possibility is check the salesman's PST file size. There is a 2 GB
limit. If this is the case you will have to truncate the file and restore
it. Contact me off line if this is the case and I'll send you the tool.

Subject: [Vantage] OT: Outlook
One of my salesmen has trashed Outlook in some fashion. It opens and hangs.
I ran the repair. It now opens in the admin account and fails under his
user ID. Of course he didn't have any backups. Where can I find his
personal settings so I can completely re-install Office?
Any suggestions on strategies to back up these laptops? My thought was to
back them up to one of the network servers when the sales guys are in the
office. Sounds good in theory but I'm lost in the execution.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
