We map printers using a logon script at each logon.
The printers have multiple queues set up for the same printer and default print settings are set.
For example
PRINTER 1 | B&W | Duplex
PRINTER 1 | Colour | Duplex
We have the script set so it sets the B&W option as the default.
However sometime when you map the printer, the user preferences dont default to eg B&W, they default to colour.
How to we enforce the print defaults from the server onto the client?
We unmap at log off and re map at log on.
Another issue is if the user changes the print properties in eg Excel, it keeps these settings all the time.
