[OT] Printers disappear on certain W9x workstations

We have the same problem here with our 9x machines, only with a Linux box
that's both running Print Services and impersonating a PDC and a legacy
Novell system that still hosts a few printers. The affected workstations
lose printers from both, with no rhyme or reason. We've been blaming Linux
just for the fun of watching our netadmin scream and turn new colors. :-)

On an almost-related topic, we've got a Red Hat 7.2 workstation running
now, and configuring WINE for a 5.1 install. Will post conclusions as soon
as we have any. Wish us luck!

We have proven the same solution on NT stations. The problem NEVER

surfaced until a Netware 5 server was added to the rack & (Corporate)

insisted that They should handle printer services.

My 2 cents
