Position Summary

Provide assistance in the development and execution of budgets, planning,
tracking, scheduling, analysis, and reporting for fixed and rotary wing
aircraft projects. Have significant interface with Project Managers,
Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel as well as other functional
or support organizations from the cost estimating phase throughout project
execution including project closure.

Essential Functions
* Analysis of deficiencies in areas such as equipment performance, material
consumption, scheduling, management, resources, and their impact on
* Assist in the development of Cost Estimates from concept to final
* Provide software analysis of existing and new software implementation.
* Provide project control/earned value management analysis.
* Establish and maintain cost/schedule reports, develop related integrated
schedules, and related financial reports.
* Develop and maintain Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), Estimate to Complete
(ETC), Estimate at Completion (EAC), Budget at Completion (BAC) Variance at
Completion (VAC).
* Conduct analysis and studies for problem identification and recommend
corrective action to management.
* Prepare written and oral presentations to management.

Skills Required
* Strong leadership skills. Detail oriented, disciplined, assertive, and
quick learner.
* Good problem solving and decision making skills. High level of accuracy
is required.
* Knowledgeable of government contracting with commercial and government
fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
* Posses a strong background working with multiple contract types: Firm
Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials
(T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).
* Experienced in project management of proposal development and project
execution for manufacturing, production, repair, and maintenance of various
military aircraft and support equipment.
* Thorough understanding of contract operating plans/budgets and financial
* Knowledgeable of engineering drawings, document control, and configuration
management policies and procedures.
* Posses extensive scheduling skills
* Experience and understanding for auditing of the applicability of ISO
quality based system policy and procedures.
* Excellent computer skills (MS-Project, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Word, Crystal
Reports, Email, and MRP systems)
* Develop manufacturing build sequences for quality/engineering.
* Read, write and verbally communicate at a level to solicit or explain
information that is complex or technical, and/or compose correspondence,
briefings, reports, charts and graphs.
* Posses excellent team building characteristics.

Education and Experience Required
* Excellent verbal and written composition
* Three to five years of experience in manufacturing
* Five to ten years of financial management and program management
* Completion of AA/AS or related training, with statistical analysis.
* BA/BS desirable
* Vantage by Epicor desirable
