OT Raw Material Calculation

Go to www.principalmetals.com <http://www.principalmetals.com/>
They have a terrific program you can download for free. It does all the
conversions from pounds to feet to inches etc etc..

Subject: [Vantage] OT Raw Material Calculation

Does anyone know of a program that will simplify estimating material
quantity? Right now we calculate the footage or square footage of steel
then enter it into Vantage. I would like to get something where I can
for example, enter the length and width in a specified unit of measure
and get correct number of sheets required.

Look on your server under \vantage\VBP\Test, there is an excel spread
sheet called Sheet. There is also a Vantage Basic routine called
sheet.vbp. This should do the trick or at least get you started.
