OT Search Problems

Eric,
Don't know if it will help or not, but check the local HOSTS and
LMHOSTS files to see if there are any bogus entries causing a
redirect. (I'm assuming this is happening on only one machine?)
If I remember correctly, the local hosts/lmhosts files will be
querried before hitting the WINS/DNS servers. This causes all kinds
of grief if someone sneaks an entry in.

I hope someone can help me I'm at my wits end. Everytime I go to
www.ask.com I get directed to their cpanel page. When I go to
www.yahoo.com and enetr search text on the search bar and press
search it comes up with a page cannot be displayed error. Oddly
enough I had something called Your.com pop up that the search did
work on. Not sure if this may have Hijacked me somehow or not.

Download "Spybot" and run it. Should take care of your problem.
