I am not sure about software applications to track routes, but if you're
just concerned with relaying messages between drivers, locations, and a
central office, you might want to look into a Blackberry type of device. It
would solve at least the communication part of the equation....

Does anybody in the group, have any experience, or know of anybody
who is familiar with Software designed for "Route Service"
companies. I have a new relationship with a Route Service company
that supplies coffee, and equipment to businesses. 14 locations, 100
route drivers/sales reps. They currently do not have any formal
network or interoffice connectivity. They are looking for industry
specific software, with a focus on Customer Service, and the ability
to link to handhelds for the route sales staff. Please contact me
