OT: Transferring file via dos

Yank the hard drive and slave it up for ten minutes. It would be worth the
work !!! If not write a batch file that loops until your done with all the
files in the directory.

I have a old DOS 5.0 laser machine that I need to transfer file to a Windows
2000 Laptop via the serial port
Can this be done via dos?
I can do 1 file at a time but I have over 500 files to copy!

Any thoughts on how to do this?

ZDnet has a DOS version of WinZip that you can download.

Use it to create one zip file of your 500 files and then just transfer that
one zip file ????

Hi James,

I remember using a product called LapLink.

Did the laser have an application for file transfers?

Did the laser have a terminal emulation program?

Could the laser be connected to a network?

Good luck and happy Holidays,
