Our's was about £400 and it rings multiple sirens as many times a day you want.
Comes with full software to control it and for T&A, Holidays etc.

Ours is by no means new but it is simple and cheap. The phone system is located in the closet of our production managers. I run a simple alarm ($20 donation) program on one of the computers in that office and run a wire from his computer to the overhead paging system. It works well except when he receives a joke email with sound in it…then I get the phone calls. On schedule it plays the factory whistle sound from the Flintstones and on special occasion “Skol Vikingsâ€. I can’t believe there aren’t inexpensive alternatives but I have yet to find them.

Yeah, they clock via ADP. And yes, there is a bolt on [expensive] solution via ADP but that’s precisely why I was asking if there were other creative, clever solutions that someone else implemented here.
Perhaps I could hang a disco ball from the shop ceiling and turn the spotlight on it at designated times…. :-) Just seeing what else is out there.

So you have a separate clocking software where your guys clock in when they arrive and clock out when they leave? If so, why cant it be linked to this?

No, doesn't need to. I'm just envisioning a solution that connects via wireless network and configurable from HR's desktop.

Anybody use a whistle or bell system to alert shop employees of breaks and
shift start/end times?
Curious on what is "new" out there. Thanks.
