Any modifications before releasing to general users?
I suspect some admins will build policies for search, updates, privacy...maybe even restrict/block access to appstore?

So I updated my surface from 8.1 to 10.  I notice that EPICOR loads much faster and seems to load the forms faster.  Anyone else experience this?

I have a laptop that I put Windows 10 to experiment.

Epicor installed fine and seems to be significantly faster.

This is Epicor 9.05.702A

Has anyone had any luck getting Epicor 10 client to install on Windows 10? I keep getting ".net 4.5 is required for install" errors, even though I have .net 4.5 installed and enabled.

You have to install E9 and E10 before updating to Windows 10 and then they work just fine. Epicor may have missed a parameter that simply checks for .net to be above the requirements. Windows 10 installs .net 4.6 and the installer doesn’t recognize it.

To get Epicor 10 on Windows 10, just copy the client folder from a Windows 7 PC that has Epicor 10 installed on it.

We had no problems. But like the other post said we had v8 and e10 installed before we upgraded.

Wonder what Win10's might eventually look like at a typical SMB.

Anybody making plans to deploy Win10 in a workplace?

Any issues/differences between the admin of Win7 desktops, group policies, domains, etc..?

Microsoft is still working on a few of the domain admin tools for Windows 10, but otherwise I haven't run across any problems with it at work.  We are even running Vantage 8.03 on it without problems.
