OT: Wireless Access Point

I pulled 3com doc -

Did you setup at least one user in the User Access List ?

As far as I can tell this is a management account so that you can pick and choose which Windows credentials can access the AP.

Hope that helps,

Charles

Did apply the firmware update. Still no luck.

Howdy,

Make sure you have the latest firmware updates.

All wireless - including 3com can be pretty iffy sometimes -

no pain - no gain

I have a 3Com 11Mbps Wireless Lan Access Point 6000. I am struggling
with this simple device. I want to modify the basic settings to
require 128 bit Dynamic Security Link which in turn will require
windows user authentication. I have changed this setting and saved
it many times and it will not accept the setting. Has anyone used
this type of device before? If so what am I doing wrong?

Something else simple to try. Reboot i.e. unplug, count to 10, plug back
in.
