Overflow Menu Order Delete

Working on a custom layer, and somehow I removed the delete order option from the overflow menu, but I don’t know what I did, or how to get it back.
I believe this occured in the custom layer, because I can remove the layer from the menu item and the delete option returns.

I’ve looked through:

  • events (on my layer)
  • rules (on my layer)
  • layout properties (on my layer)
  • dataviews (on my layer)
  • data directives
  • method directives
  • company configuration
  • user account security maintenance

But I cannot figure out how I made the delete option disapear. I’m loosing it!
Does anyone have thoughts on what might have happened to make this delete option disappear?

There have been several reports of these issues lately. Mostly people talking about their missing New (+) Icon… which, if you look at your image, that’s missing also:

One thing I’ve seen is to verify your Sales Order page isn’t missing its epbinding.

That was it. The details card somehow lost it.

Found my binding was also missing, added it back in, worked like a charm.

I’ve logged a Case with Support and will have another go at getting them to accept as the Problem / bug that it is!

Just realized my Close Line option was also missing. The culprit?
Missing Ep Binding on the Order Details page!

Found the issue in minutes rather than hours thanks to all of you! :clap::clap::clap:

I never put a ticket in… it was easier to add the epi binding back in and be done with it.
Maybe @dena.schmidt has an update?

Refer Problem PRB0293902 - it took 5 months from when I logged the Case but finally got them to Accept the problem. Who knows when it will get looked at to be fixed though.

I had put an update on another thread but not this one sorry

Its worth a shot (and pretty easy) to double check the pages have their required bindings. I can’t verify if this solves that issue or not, as I don’t have anyway to recreate it. But, fingers crossed for you! :crossed_fingers:

thanks for your reply David, the sales order page has the required EpiBinding but the Lines Details is blank, i do not know what to link it to nor if it is required to put any, my issue that Close/Re-Open Lines function have disappeared completely from Kinetic overflow menu

You can always look at the BASE layer to get standard settings if you need to verify.

Epicare have updated Problem PRB0293902 and stated Fixed in Release is 12.1.100.5 which is 2025.2.5
