Overload Informer in Vantage 8.03

Rick,

Disregard what I said earlier, I was thinking of two different
dashboards that use a data view... The overload informer does look at
live data. We do not use it as it doesn't really isn't an effective
tool in our opinion.

Hi Rob,
I'm not sure what you mean by refreshing the data cube. If you mean have
I used the refresh button on the overload informer screen then, yes and
it produces strange results. If I only hit "refresh" it shows no
overload of the resource. If I hit "refresh all" it displays the
overload I mentioned. Is there some other refresh that needs to be run?
The processing time is not an issue for us. Thanks for your help.

Hi All,
Using Vantage 8.03. The overload informer indicates overloads on resources during specific time frames that, when reviewed using the Resouce Scheduling Board, show no scheduled load at all! The Scheduling Board is accurately showing what I have for load at that resource. I'm assuming that I've set something improperly but I have no idea exactly what. Thanks to some earlier help I'm relatively confident that I'm utilizing the Global Finite Scheduler properly. I've verified the horizons and that "Finite" is checked off at the Resouce level and when running the Global Scheduler. Any thoughts where I can look for the source of the problem? The informer won't be any use if I can't figure this out. Thanks for you help.
Rick
Have you refreshed the data cube for the overload informer since you ran
your global scheduling? The overload informer gets static data from a
cube that needs to be refreshed in order to see changes to the system.
We don't use it because it takes to damn long to run..
