Packing Slip / BOL

It's really a Vantage issue. You do not need all the detail for a BOL.
Whoever designed the "generate" function assumed a 1 to 1 relationship which
does not exist.

We just complete the line or lines we need and delete the rest. The errors
are no issue. They are telling you that the ps line is missing the proper
info when imported.

No you are not doing anything wrong.

Edward,
Thanks for the info. But when I fill out the packing slip, and if I
just put the info (type, class etc) into just the first line item,
when I create the BOL, Vantage gives me the following: "Incomplete
packaging classifications have been processed during the generation.
All detail lines with an unknown description will have to be changed
before printing." This leads me to believe that I have to enter the
information for each line item on the packing slip. Am I doing
something wrong?

Thanks!

Andrew

To all,
We have a situation where we are using the BOL and having it
generated from the Packing Slip. We have a lot of orders that have
multiple line items, but they will be packed into one box. Do I have
to put the type and classification and number of packages for each
line item? Or can we put it in once (for the first line item)?

Thanks in advance!

Andrew
One line for the whole shooting match will do.
