Pallet No, Blank Title 64905

We're also having a very very similar problem...we're using a formula
to combine part of the legal number with the packing line number but
it is far from satisfactory. It's difficult to see how to use a
number that can be linked to the transaction which we can also print
on a pallet label. In fact, Rashid, I'm sure we've spoken on this
very subject!

It seems that Vantage does not generate any unique pallet no at the
time of receive stock or book in Finished Good Stock. Is any one knows
how to generate a unique no as a pallet no at the time of receive stock
and bookin FGS and at the time of delivery.
Any help would by appreciated.

Thanks
Rashid
You could do a customization to either generate a random numeric pallet number (using the vb  RANDOM() function) or set up a search of existing pallet numbers, find the 'highest', and increment it to the 'next'.

Do you need to store any additional details with the pallet number?
What do you use the number for?
