Parameter value (232323232.00000) is out of range

Hi,

During Quantity Adjustment, after selecting Part, adding qty and after all required field, when i click on Adjust button. I get error like Parameter value (12334992384.000000) is out of range. This is something wired value which is not relevant any field… I checked in Trace Log and I didn’t found this value anywhere in trace log. I guess this is coming on business object “SetInventoryQtyAdj” method.

I checked all scenario but still I am not understanding why its giving error bcz of irrelevant error displaying. Kindly do let me know if n e one knows.

What is the QOH in the bin you are trying to adjust? And what is Qty you’re trying to adjust by? (increase QOH or decrease it?)

Do you get this if you do the adjust to other parts, or just this one. Other bins, or just this one?

One last thing. What is the cost method? Maybe the qty change is creating a bad new cost.

Hi Calvin,

Quantity is in Positive value. I tried this on another part for testing by putting big quantity value but that part got adjusted with value. This part is having issue. This error is also not relevant. That’s y difficult to tackle

Good Morning,

Any chance you have something interesting with UOM on this part? Like a different UOM than most that might have unexpected setup, or a different UOM inventoried vs sold/purchased, etc.?

Hello

Actually, the cost numeric value was more then defined in database. Due to this its was giving error.
Also, the cost is having wrong value. Right now figuring the way how to get back original cost.
