Part Checkout Blank Title 129455

You can change the filter in Quote Entry to only list approved revisions in a customization.
However, if the part is checked out, sounds like there is an Engineering change.  What is your Engineering change process?  If there are open jobs - will they be affected?  will they be used as is?  Is the change immediate?  You could write some BPM to halt labor, Manufacturing receipts etc but, you need to have a good Engineering Change Procedure.
If part is checked out, the Quoting module can continue to use it, existing jobs are allowed to proceed, new jobs can't pull details for the part, the Purchasing module defaults to the most recent rev effective date, but can select a rev from drop down. We're aware of these controls in Epicor, but are looking to hear how others are handling this, specifically the existing jobs if jobs are created in advance. Our Engineering department wants everything to come to a halt that pertains to the part checked out. What have others done to assist in their control over activity taking place on checked out parts?
I don't think there is anything in the system that will help you stop a created job... it sounds like you may want to create some sort of pop up or auto print if a part that has open jobs for it gets checked out.
