Part Demand

We have a part that Part Tracker shows a demand of 2 pcs. However, looking in Job Manager (screen shot attached) doesn’t show any demand. I ran the Refresh Part Quantities and Allocations report in Pilot but that part didn’t show up on the report. ???

How do I see what is driving the demand???

Thanks!!!

Checking Time Phase is a good place to start.

The part number in question is 701369.

the PartDtl table shows all your demand if you can create a baq or sql query.

Ran a BAQ. Pulled every field available in to the report. Only thing that comes up is an open job to make more of that part. No demand results.

Next thought???

Thanks!

There could have been a demand at one point that was canceled. You can review the Planning Workbench to see if there is a suggestion to cancel this job for no demand. If that’s not the case, try running MRP for just this part - give it a log file name and run “MRP” loging mode in case MRP doesn’t clear up the job. Then you can view the log file and see where the suggestion is coming from.

Thanks, Jenn. Ran the MRP with logging. Now…where do I go to look at the log? LOL

It gets stored in the EpicorData folder. If you have an admin, they should be able to help you access it. You could also try opening windows explorer and typing in \epicordata\ then hitting enter. Then you should see a Companies folder, then Logs, then the folder for your user id.

Thanks. I’m a System Admin but we don’t have an IT dept here. I’m the Controller. Tried the Windows Explorer suggestion but nothing came up that seemed to help. :frowning:
