Part description search

Did you run a couple of the script files to create the indexes?
the mfgsys803\Server\sql folder has some scripts in there that you load into query analyzer. Make sure your drive path matches what they programmed though. I think they use drive E: where mine was G:. I would drop all the full text indexes you have, then recreate them with the FullTextCreate.SQL script. As long as your path is correct in that script you shouldn't get any errors. Then you can populate them by going to SQL Explorer and right clicking full text indexing then clicking populate. Also MfgTest803 is different from MfgSys803 as far as creating the indexing. Make sure you adjust the script accordingly based upon what DB you are using it for.

Subject: [Vantage] part description search

Running Vantage 803.305D. On SQL 2000

In the Part Search, under section 'Where part Description contains' I'm getting an Error. Support claims that I need to do Full-text Catalog. I have rebuilt all Catalogs and repopulated all catalogs with same results. Anyone out there with the same issues or any ideas to fix?

Thanks for all your responses.

Ken
