We want to start more product traceability throughout the shop. We have
a part that we either want to track via lot# or serial# but, since this
part
has been active and already setup in the system - these options are
grayed out in Part Maintenance. I tried unapproving revision information
and
zeroing out on hand inventory but, still cannot change these. Are we
stuck ?

Is the part set up to backflush? If it is you have to uncheck the backflush
box to use the track lots or serial numbers.
