How would I link TranGLC and GLJrnDtl to get the period?

Sorry I am not too familiar with the finance tables.

I found the blanks are for current (open) period transactions. Those that have been posted all have the Fiscal Year / Period populated. We are on V8.03.408b.
Mark,
I am just trying to generate a report of PartTransactions by Period.
TranGLC doesn't have FiscalPeriod.

I've written quite a few of these, just need to know what you are trying to capture?

That works great but there is no Period in TranGLC
How would I link TranGLC and GLJrnDtl to get the period?
Sorry I am not too familiar with the finance tables.

In most cases you can do it.  For example, for parttran to grab the invoice detail you can use parttran-part-invoice detail, the invoice detail would have fiscal period, fiscal year, etc

You can also join parttran and transglc tables with company, trandate, and then to make it unique things like invoice number, etc. It just depends on what you need as not all parttransctions create transgl transactions but you should be able to get there

Jose, what are trying to do? You can get the fiscal year and period from the transglc, everything else you need such as invoice header, invoice date, ARinvoice detail etc should get you everything you need

I've written quite a few of these, just need to know what you are trying to capture?

That works great but there is no Period in TranGLC

How would I link TranGLC and GLJrnDtl to get the period?

Sorry I am not too familiar with the finance tables.
