New to Vantage ERP....

Currently there is a past due report in Vantage which our Customer service person uses and she has asked me if there is a way to highlight the lines on the report if the day is less than today. I know that she can put in a date range to just give her anything before today. She just wants to dump it all out and see it highlighted.
I have 2 other questions but will put them in separately..

Thanks,

James
James,

If you open up the Crystal report, go to that field, right click and format
field, then go to the font tab. On the right, you'll see icons next to the
font, the style, the size, and the color. These are your conditional
formatting buttons. For example, if you click on the one next to the color,
you can conditionally set the color. It will come up with the various
values commented out. What you can do in the code then is have a statement
like this:

If <fieldname> < CurrentDate then crRed

Else crBlack

You could get as fancy as you want - different size fonts, borders around
the fields, etc.

Just one note - if you're doing this to a standard form, make sure to copy
that report to the CustomReports subfolder, and make your changes to a copy.
When you do an upgrade, anything in the base reports folder can get
overwritten, but your custom reports will not. Then, you'll have to set up
a new report style and point it to your custom report.
