Thanks Ned. Sorry for all the dumb questions, but I need to purchase a newer version of Crystal Reports yet. Do you know what version is compatible with E9?

I always suggest that you go to the most recent one available when just
starting out, since it is a Test Server, it will allow you to vet out the
majority of problems prior to going live in a production environment. I
think it is always in the best interest to be on the most recent patch you
can be, since if you call Epicor with any tickets, that is usually one of
the first questions asked, and one of the first answers they give is to
update to the most recent service pack and patch. The closer you can be to
the current one, the better you will get a response for problems you do
have.

Epicor has been pretty good with 9.05 since .603 in not breaking things when
they put out a new Service Pack, as well as making some pretty good efforts
to improve performance.

Also, it can be very tough, if not impossible, to get a service pack that is
not in current release.

The most recent version is currently 9.05.607A.
