Payroll Deduction glitch

Good morning

It is working for all other employees. Just our last employee we hired
it's not working for. I've verified it's not a declining balance
deduction, it shows as active on the deduction screen, all pay periods
are checked, and the deduction shows up on his payroll check but doesn't
tranfer the amount.

Thanks for your help...greatly appreciated

If it is happening for other employees, then it is definitely the
employee deduction record. Check the periods on the emp deduct. Make
sure it's not a declining balance. And make sure the inactive (if
available) is not checked.

We have a new employee that has a life insurance policy as a payroll
deduction that isn't being deducted automatically from his paycheck. We
have other employees with the same deduction that work fine. I can not
find any obvious reason why this one isn't working. Does anyone have
any suggestions or have experienced this same problem?

I would make sure that the appropriate periods are checked in the
deduction in the employee file.

This wouldn't be a declining balance deduction that needs a value in the
remaining field to deduct anything.
