Payroll interface

Try SYSTEM MECHANIC at www.iolo.com <http://www.iolo.com/> There is a
shareware version that works well. The Paid version is a very nice tool for
keeping regular house cleaning on a system. It h as a lot of nice
functions.

Subject: [Vantage] Payroll interface

I have been asked to look into the possibility of submitting time clock
hours to our payroll company. I am planning to give the vendor a .csv of a
reportbuilder report. I created a simple report which gives me the total
number of hours for all hourly employees during a given time. The report
needs to be automated a bit more in order for our HR department to work with
it. I am left with a couple of problems:
What logic would I use to make report builder break down a date range into
two work weeks, and how should I build a CF that takes the total number of
hours during each week and splits those out into regular and over time
(anything >40)?

Just wondering if anyone without the luxury of a payroll module has tackled
such a report before?

TIA,

Paul
