Payroll Security

I figured that Mark Charamut would jump in on this one, but he must still be
sleeping. :)

Caesar Development sells an add-on for Vantage that prevents anyone from
changing payroll clock-in or clock-out transactions unless they are a
Payroll Manager for that class of employee. Its a small program that has
only one function, but it does it very well and gives our CFO great peace of
mind. I know Mark has to be careful on the list about promoting his company
too much, but my experience is that his company does a great job of giving
Vantage users the functionality that Epicor "forgot" about.

You can reach Mark at 860-225-0369 or visit their web site at

We have not found one. We decided that we needed to be very careful who has
labor entry access and very clear on what the procedure was to allow any
changes.

Question to those who use LaborHeader information for Payroll purposes.

How do you secure accuracy of Clock In/Out Time? If a person clocked In and
Out through Data Collection and later the time is changed through Labor
Entry, the flag LaborCollection will not change. This means that anybody
with Labor Entry access may change Paid Hours and nobody will be able to
recognize the change.

Is there any way to trace changes made through Labor Entry?
